Ask for wisdom, then bring patience and discernment to the choice in front of you.
James 1:5–6James encourages people facing trials to ask God for wisdom. The request is for help seeing and responding well, not a shortcut around every difficult choice.
Wisdom can arrive through Scripture, careful thought, counsel, and a clearer view of the people affected by our decisions. Prayer makes room for all of these.
Write down the choice before you and the values you want it to honor. Ask God for courage to act on what becomes clear.
