The Work of Patient Hope
Hope teaches us to keep going without demanding an immediate result.
Romans 8:24–25Paul describes hope as attention to what is not yet seen. That kind of hope needs patience because it cannot be measured only by today’s evidence.
Patience is active. It keeps us available to love, learning, and wise action without forcing an outcome we cannot control.
Name the result you are waiting for, then ask what good and faithful work remains possible while you wait.
What can you still practice faithfully even before this hope is fulfilled?
“God, strengthen my hope and teach me a patient way to keep showing up.”
