Purpose is often formed through ordinary faithfulness.

We can become so preoccupied with a significant future assignment that we overlook the people and responsibilities already entrusted to us.

Scripture repeatedly dignifies faithfulness in small places. Character grows through hidden choices, repeated service, honest work, and attention to people who cannot advance our reputation.

The ordinary task before you may be one of today’s clearest places to live your calling.
