Morning Will Come
A painful night is real, but it is not the only season God can give.
Psalm 30:5This psalm remembers sorrow without making sorrow permanent. Its hope is not a timetable; it is confidence that grief does not have the final word.
Some nights last longer than we wish. In them, even a small act of care—rest, a call, a meal, or a prayer—can help us remain open to morning.
If today is difficult, you do not need to manufacture joy. Let the possibility of a different tomorrow be enough to carry one small step.
What small act of care would help you make it through this part of the night?
“God, stay with me in sorrow and keep a small light of hope before me.”
