Faithful in the Work at Hand
Ordinary work can become a place to practice integrity and care.
Colossians 3:23–24Paul speaks to people whose work was often unseen and undervalued. Their dignity did not depend on receiving applause from the people around them.
This passage is not a reason to accept exploitation or ignore needed rest. It invites integrity in the work we choose and the care we bring to it.
Give one task your full attention today, then let its worth be separate from how much recognition it earns.
What part of your work could you do with care even if no one notices?
“God, make my work honest and meaningful, and remind me that my worth is not my output.”
