A Purpose Shaped by Service
Jesus measures greatness through service rather than control.
Mark 10:42–45Jesus contrasts the desire to dominate with a life that serves. He does not call exploitation good; he reveals a different way to use influence.
Purpose changes when we ask not only what we can accomplish, but whom our choices help and whether they treat people with dignity.
Use whatever influence you have today to make something easier or more just for another person.
Reflect
How could you use your influence to serve rather than to seek status?
A prayer for today
“Jesus, shape my ambitions around love and teach me to serve with humility.”
