A Name No Failure Can Erase
The names God gives are larger than the labels pain or failure leave behind.
Isaiah 62:2–3Isaiah imagines a people known by a new name after a long season of desolation. Their painful history is not the only name that will be spoken over them.
We can learn from what we have done without making our worst moment our permanent identity. Honest repair and renewed life can coexist.
Write down a label you fear and set beside it a truer description rooted in God’s care and the possibility of change.
What name or label have you mistaken for the final truth about yourself?
“God, call me toward the life you see and help me release labels that keep me bound.”
