A Gift You Do Not Earn
Grace frees you to live faithfully without turning faith into a performance.
Ephesians 2:8–10Paul describes salvation as a gift, then describes a life of good work that grows from that gift. The order matters: belonging is received before achievement is measured.
We can serve, repair harm, and practice discipline without using those things to purchase God’s love. Grace gives effort a healthier home.
Notice one good thing you can do today from gratitude rather than fear. Let the gift come first.
Where are you trying to earn what God invites you to receive?
“God of grace, free me from proving myself and guide me into the good work before me.”
